Our return files contain confidential information - how can we work with you on this?

In order to develop Output File processing filters, we only need the exact format of the output files; we don't need to see any real data.

We've added a special feature into SIMregistrar, which will take one of your output files and create a new file with the same structure and format, but with all sensitive information removed (specifically, it changes all code values to 'XXXXX'). After visually checking that this file is no longer sensitive, you may email the file to us.

For information, a future release of SIMregistrar will allow you to create your own filters for the more common format types.

I already maintain my output files in a structured manner - can SIMregistrar work with these files without me moving them?

Yes, we've designed SIMregistrar to operate with output files, regardless of where they are stored. All you need to do, when the program is first installed, is point it at the top level folder.

You can change this top level folder at any time if need be.

Does SIMregistrar work with output files in XML format?

Yes, we've designed SIMregistrar to operate with most existing formats of output files, including XML.
